Job Description
The Patient Access Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of patient access services within our organization. This includes the registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes, ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the healthcare system.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access and increase efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze patient access data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
- Manage and train a team of patient access staff, ensuring consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to patient access, implementing changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in a patient access leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
