Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Sales Tax Calculation and Filing:
- Calculate and file sales tax returns for clients in multiple states, with a dedicated focus on the United States.
- Stay updated on US sales tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with both state and federal requirements.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile sales tax accounts to ensure accuracy and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Enter payments into the accounting system, ensuring the clearance of sales tax liabilities.
- Template Management:
- Manage and contribute to the creation of standardized sales tax calculation templates.
- Implement best practices to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the sales tax calculation process.
