Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Buyer/Commodities Planner (Hybrid) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and planning processes for commodities used in our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of commodities.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to anticipate potential supply chain issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Create and analyze purchasing reports to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
