Job Description
The Shipping Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-efficient operations. This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to oversee shipment scheduling, documentation, and coordination with various stakeholders.
The Shipping Executive will collaborate closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any shipping-related issues. Strong communication skills are essential to interact effectively with both internal and external parties in addressing inquiries and providing status updates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and oversee all shipping activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and review shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, and export/import forms.
- Implement strategies to optimize shipping processes, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Monitor shipment schedules and track delivery progress, proactively addressing any delays or disruptions.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance and transportation.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare regular reports on shipping activities and performance metrics.
