Job Description
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining vendor records, ensuring that invoices are properly coded and approved, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for preparing and issuing payments to vendors and assisting with month-end closing activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software is also required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
