Job Description
The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial health of the Philippine office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the monthly closing process to ensure timely submission of financial reports
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Handle daily finance-related issues from different departments
- Review VAT/WHT calculations and filings
- Review CIT filings and other statutory filings
- Oversee the documents compliance for opening/closing stores
- Quarterly inventory check at the store
- Take charge of year-end audits and communicate with auditors
To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you must have proven leadership experience in Finance and local taxation.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Licensed CPA
- At least five years of proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping, with a track record of process improvement and leadership
- Proven expertise in tax filings, tax computation, and related tax processes or documentations
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Fluency in English, good attention to details, positive, willing to learn
- Retail experience is preferred
