Job Description
As the Middle Office Manager (Trading Operations), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational activities of our trading department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth execution and settlement of trades and trade lifecycle management. You will work closely with front-office traders, the back-office settlement team, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate trade processing.
In this role, you will monitor trade settlements, reconcile trade breaks, and investigate and resolve any trade discrepancies. You will also manage post-trade processes and perform regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the trading operations function.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of trade operations processes, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, a good understanding of relevant industry regulations and best practices is required.
