Job Description
The Mfg. Test Engineering (MTE) team at Vishay is currently seeking a Test Engg Section Head. As a member of the MTE team, you will be responsible for developing testing procedures and guidelines, drafting proposals for testing programs, and ensuring test equipment is calibrated. Additionally, you will manage, coordinate, or perform tests at defined quality control stage, communicate with stakeholders when specifications are not met, and provide recommendations for further improvements.
In this role, you will monitor functional-specific trends, conduct focused research, and create informative reports to support process improvements. You will contribute to projects and processes to enhance functional efficiency and effectiveness. As part of an infrastructure project, you will take over the responsibility of a dedicated workstream and provide local support and consultancy on subject matters or processes. Independent judgment on relevant subjects of the assigned process will also be expected.
