Job Description
A Collection Associate is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from customers. You will be in charge of providing excellent customer service, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely payments to maintain positive relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Contacting customers to remind them of their outstanding payments
- Negotiating payment arrangements and setting up payment plans
- Resolving customers’ queries related to their debts
- Working with customers to develop strategies for debt repayment
- Documenting all communication and actions taken in the collection process
Requirements:
- Prior experience in debt collection or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets
