Job Description
A Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the purchasing activities of an organization. They work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Conducting market research to identify potential vendors
- Negotiating contracts and agreements
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
