Job Description
An Inventory Auditor is needed at Venice 66 Fashions Inc. to ensure accurate counts of our inventory. In this role, you will review and count merchandise received daily in the warehouse, as well as manually count all merchandise on our sales floor. You must document any discrepancies according to company protocols, work to find the source of the inaccuracy, and implement measures to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors. Weekly auditing reports will need to be produced and delivered to your supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Graduate
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Business related course
- Preferably with experience in Accounting or Audit
- Knowledge of Inventory management or stock count
- Proficiency with basic computer programs
- Keen attention to detail
- A flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document counts of all inventory received in the warehouse
- Perform manual counts of all merchandise on the sales floor
- Identify and document any discrepancies
- Report discrepancies and propose solutions to prevent future errors
