Job Description
Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Communication skills – communicate well with customers from different backgrounds.
- Flexible to change approach to interact based on customers’ experiences and situations.
- Customer service – able to help people efficiently.
- Record Management – able to manage customer records which includes remembering the details of the interaction and items for follow-up.
- Patience – must exhibit a high level of patience, especially with customers who might be difficult to help.
- Graduate of any 4-year course. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience is not required but a plus factor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer Customer Questions
- Responsible for answering customer questions through various means, such as online chats, email, or phone calls.
- Answer any questions the customer may have and then redirect them to the appropriate team or department.
Escalate Customer Issues
- Helps escalate customers’ problems to the appropriate support teams.
- Help resolve simple problems, so the customer doesn’t need to be transferred to a different team.
Update Customer Records
- Responsible for updating detailed customer records after each interaction with that customer.
- Add notes to customer records explaining what the interaction entailed and report on trends as necessary.
Provide General Customer Support
- Provide general customer support, including helping customers who come into the company office or customers who don’t know which team to contact.
Assist the Sales and Marketing Team
- Assist the Sales and Marketing Team in boosting sales and performance. This responsibility includes setting up appointments or following up with customers after their first interaction with a salesperson.
Assist the Management Team
- As needed, assist the Management Team in providing reports and comments from customers. Provide minutes of items discussed.
