Job Description
A Sales Clerk is responsible for assisting customers in purchasing products, providing product information, and processing sales transactions. They work in various retail settings, such as stores, boutiques, and malls, helping customers find the products they need and offering recommendations.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist customers by answering questions and providing product information
- Offer suggestions and recommendations based on customer preferences
- Process sales transactions and handle cash or credit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and restock inventory as needed
