Job Description
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures.
- Welcomes and escorts visitors and patients to examination rooms.
- Screens visitors, answers calls, and inquiries.
- Types and checks data in official results.
- Schedules and instructs patients in all Unit sections.
- Acts as main point of contact between doctors and patients.
- Locates patient files needed by staff.
- Issues Unit documents and results.
- Monitors and follows up on pending procedures.
- Stores and protects all Unit documents.
- Maintains Unit cleanliness and orderliness.
- Performs tasks assigned by Unit Supervisor and Management Staff.
