Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information.
- Researches data needs for reimbursement.
- Analyzes medical records for documentation deficiencies.
- Acts as subject matter expert to other coding staff.
- Reviews documentation to ensure proper support for diagnoses and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Allied Medical Profession.
- 1+ year experience in medical coding preferred.
- Familiarity with IDC-10, CPT codes, and HCPCS.
- Certification in AAPC, AHIMA, or BCHHC a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php18,00.00 – Php25,00.00 per month
