Job Description
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and liaising with other departments to resolve issues.
You should have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel are essential for this role. Prior experience in general ledger accounting and a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and monthly financial reports
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
