Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Steel Detailer – Junior to join our team at Canam. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and plans for steel structures based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
Responsibilities include creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings using software programs, such as AutoCAD, and collaborating with the design team to ensure project requirements are met. The Junior Detailer will also review and make revisions to drawings as needed.
Strong attention to detail, knowledge of steel construction processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. Prior experience in steel detailing is a plus but not required.
