Job Description
- The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for the monetary intake for Ventra Health clients. They will maintain deposits for 13-14 facilities/clients and ensure a 6 days turnaround time. Compliance with billing standards and teamwork is essential for providing top-tier service to clients nationwide.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Posts Accounts Payable deposits
- Processes electronic 835’s and manual payer EOBs, including insurance posting, denials, adjustments, and more.
- Interprets Explanation of Benefits (EOB) codes accurately.
- Balances and closes payment batches promptly.
- Ability to navigate websites for EOB retrieval.
- Completion of special projects and assigned duties.
