Duties & responsibilities:

1. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information for pricing.
2. Negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization.
3. Attend industry events to learn about trends and connect with suppliers.
4. Address defective goods and services with vendors.
5. Monitor contracts for compliance and necessary changes.
6. Maintain records of purchases, costs, and inventory.
7. Work out delivery agreements with suppliers.
8. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
9. Interview vendors and visit suppliers for product insights.

Purchasing Staff Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field may be required.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in relevant management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
• Excellent networking and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• 13th-month salary
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English and Tagalog (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
