Job Description
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests
Canvassing small tickets (materials) and comparing supplier prices
Conducting quantity and quality check of items upon delivery
Resolve purchasing disputes by contacting suppliers
Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, including prices, quantities, and delivery dates. Ensure that all information is documented and easily accessible for reference and reporting purposes
Collaborate with various departments to determine their procurement needs
Monitor and check in-house inventory
Performs other duties as assigned
