Job Description
Messenger Responsibilities:
- Clarifying scheduled deliveries before each shift.
- Fetching, checking, and signing for parcels.
- Loading parcels safely.
- Choosing effective routes.
- Transporting items to drop-off points.
- Answering recipients’ questions.
- Ensuring proper documentation upon delivery.
- Completing daily work.
- Reporting unfulfilled deliveries to manager.
- Remaining friendly and helpful.
Messenger Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred.
- Previous delivery experience.
- Valid driver’s license, if applicable.
- Familiarity with delivery area layout.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good planning and decision-making skills.
- Physically agile and active.
- Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- 13th-month salary
