Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Establishing understanding of source and target database structures & schemas
- Develop & maintain database strategy for accurate and secure data migration
- Business scenario mapping and cutover handling
- Ensure migration of all user data based on different business cut over scenarios
- Lead Go-Live activities for successful software deployment
- Develop and execute migration strategy, plan, and schedule while managing quality and risks
- Collaborate with development teams to understand existing database structures
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of various database systems
- 7-10 years of work experience
- Hands-on experience with driving migration projects in Oracle, MySQL, and relational databases
- Experience in migrating between different applications and relational database structures
- Experience in creating migration templates, drafting migration strategy, and team management
- Experience in migrating from On-premise to AWS cloud infrastructure is a plus
