Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Coordination with Shared Service Center in processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaboration with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to verify pricing, quantity, and terms.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
- Participation during closing procedures like posting of accruals, clearing GL accounts
Professional competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software.
- SAP knowledge is highly valued.
- Ability to analyze financial data and derive insights for better financial management.
- Exceptional accuracy in handling financial information and adherence to deadlines.
Personal competencies
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with Vendors and Internal Teams.
- A keen interest in learning and mastering new financial tools and systems.
- Detail-oriented.
