Description

Designs training program for the HIM service line and maintains updated process knowledge for implementation during onboarding or go-live.

Responsibilities

• Develops curriculum and course modules (Abstraction, Audits, Indexing, Cash Posting, Credit Refund, and other Revenue Cycle Management Account)
• Manages new accounts throughout the training period, aiding in setting quality & productivity standards, and ensuring a smooth transition to the operations team in coordination with the department manager
• Works with production supervisors and managers for timely execution of corrective actions for performance issues adhering to guidelines
• Collaborates with billing operations managers and quality team to address concerns impacting both internal and external customers
• Identifies improvement areas and educational opportunities, developing training materials and leading sessions with the management team
• Provides product training for new hires and conducts refresher sessions as needed
• Stays updated on training innovations through research and course attendance, exploring new methods like web-based training
• Researches new technologies and methodologies for workplace implementation, presenting comprehensive plans including sourcing and costing
• HIPAA compliance
• Promotes continuous learning through programs like HealthStream, contributing to the development of performance-enhancing training programs
• Monitors staff completion of assigned courses and updates weekly performance & attendance decks
• Participates in weekly training meetings with upper management

Requirements

• At least one year of prior training experience is required
• Minimum two years experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, particularly in AR and Denials Management or within the healthcare insurance provider sector
• In-depth understanding of claim denials
• CPB and Coding Certification (CPC, CCS, COC) is an advantage

Pay: Php40,00.00 – Php45,00.00 per month
