Job Description
An Able Bodied Seaman plays a vital role in the operation of sea vessels. Responsibilities include maintaining deck equipment, standing watch for safety hazards, and assisting with navigation duties. This position requires physical strength, knowledge of maritime safety procedures, and effective communication skills.
Key duties include mooring and anchoring operations, cargo handling, and routine maintenance tasks. An Able Bodied Seaman must also be prepared to respond to emergency situations and work closely with the ship’s officers and crew members.
