Job Description
The Internal Audit Supervisor will oversee and manage the internal audit activities within the food industry organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements. Responsibilities include developing audit plans, performing audit procedures, and supervising audit staff to provide independent assurance on risk management and internal control processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in the food industry, retail, or manufacturing sector.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of internal audit principles, risk management, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel to various store locations for audits.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
