Job Description
The NOC Manager oversees the Network Operations Center (NOC) and is responsible for managing a team of Network Operations Engineers. The primary role of the NOC Manager is to ensure the smooth operation and availability of the company’s network infrastructure.
The NOC Manager is in charge of monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating with other teams to resolve any network-related problems. They will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining network management tools and systems.
Additionally, the NOC Manager will be responsible for creating and updating network documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and network configurations. They will need to ensure that all network operations are in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate for this role should have strong technical knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, as well as experience in managing a team. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also essential for this position.
