Job Description

SUMMARY

The Vendor Service Representative interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone and email.
  • Place outbound calls to customers to obtain additional information.
  • Work to resolve any customer concerns and answer any questions.
  • Research customer inquiries using available resources.
  • Process payments and enrollment requests.
  • Call vendors that are not enrolled and begin the enrollment process.
  • Direct escalation issues to the designated resource.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer correspondence and transactions in the system.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet customers’ objectives.
  • Provide timely follow-up on all customer inquiries.
  • Assist with additional special projects as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience handling Spanish bilingual role.
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Strong typing skills required; ability to type at least 35 wpm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Multifamily industry experience strongly preferred.
