Job Description
Alpha Vector Construction and Supply is seeking an Accounting Assistant to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Management: Process invoices, expense reports, and other payment requests accurately and promptly.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors for payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Disbursement Processing: Prepare and execute payment runs via various methods.
- Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance Adherence: Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain organized records and generate reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of working experience as an Accounting Assistant.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Good judgment, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and work efficiently.
- Result-driven with a sense of responsibility and commitment.
