Job Description
– Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
– Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
– Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
– Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
– Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
– Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements.
– Ensure all dental office equipment is functioning properly.
– Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail.
– Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance.
(Other tasks assigned from time to time)
Qualifications:
- Senior High School or college graduate.
- Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of dental terminology.
