Job Description
- First level support for all DIT services, applications, and tools. Responsible for 24×7 infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Act as the focal point for reporting Incidents and service requests, managing day-to-day operations of the DIT Infrastructure.
- Register and manage reported incidents, queries, and change requests from end-users. Escalate to 2nd line support when needed.
- Track incident status and resolution, ensuring timely updates to end-users and customers.
- Prepare incident reports as required and provide remote support via phone or email.
- Monitor critical applications and escalate issues to higher-level support.
- Report abnormalities and errors found in the data center; conduct daily equipment monitoring.
- Manage database table space and backup tapes, adhering strictly to DIT procedures.
- Coordinate with area owner for procedure updates and escalate problems to next-level support when necessary.
