Job Description
- Inspect equipment to identify damages, diagnose mechanical problems, and determine necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and manuals to troubleshoot and pinpoint issues accurately.
- Repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Replace faulty or old machinery parts when necessary.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Ensure repaired equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
- Report equipment conditions, maintenance schedules, and repair timelines.
- Coordinate with other mechanics and personnel to prioritize assignments and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Provide guidance and assistance to junior mechanics or apprentices when needed.
