Job Description
- Pays employees by calculating pay and deductions and issuing checks.
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the payroll system.
- Updates payroll records with changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job transfers.
- Prepares reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
- Determines payroll liabilities and communicates deductions to retirement administrators.
- Assists with bonus calculations and resolves discrepancies.
- Provides information, follows policies, and maintains confidentiality.
