Job Description
The Procurement Analyst (Direct Materials) is responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of direct materials required for the company’s operations. Duties include analyzing supply chain processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A background in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, conducting market research, evaluating supplier performance, and optimizing inventory levels. Proficiency in data analysis and supply chain software is a plus.
