Job Description
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in Tekla Structures.
- Good knowledge of structural steel detailing.
- Strong proficiency in reading architectural & structural drawings is a must.
- Knowledge of Australian standards is an advantage.
- AutoCAD / Revit experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience with laser scanning and point cloud is an advantage but not essential.
Key Skills:
- Ability to work independently and detail a whole project from start to completion.
- Strong drawing and presentation skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- 3D modeling of structural steel in Tekla Structures.
- Coordinate with consultants’ 3D models / architects & engineers’ drawings.
- Produce assemblies, single part drawings, and marking plans.
- Produce IFC models / digital files for automated steel processing.
- Provide information from Tekla for digital set-outs onsite.
- Liaise with project managers / clients / consultants.
