Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Server Health Monitoring and Maintenance
- Report customization as needed (Solarwinds)
- Ensure accessibility and connectivity of applications
- Monitor CPU, Memory, and Disk utilizations
- Netbackup Administration
- Monitor backups, tape drives, media tapes, and media servers
- Netbackup / Quantum Library
- Monitor firmware/application upgrades
- Conduct extensive troubleshooting
- Ensure replenishment of media tapes in libraries
- Ensure restoration of requests
- EMC Storage
- Monitor EMC storage
- Manage data store
- Ensure vendor coordination on service and maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any IT-related course
- At least 5 years of experience in IT
Experience in management of the following:
- VMWare 6.7 or later
- Active Directory
- Exchange Servers
- SharePoint
- Veritas NetBackup
- IBM Storwize / EMC Unity
Experience in the following Operating Systems:
- Windows Server
- CentOS, RHEL, Oracle Linux
- IBM AIX
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- 13th-month salary
