Position: Head Chef

Summary/Objectives:
A Head Chef is responsible for utilizing their culinary expertise to create appetizing dishes for diners to enjoy. They oversee Kitchen Staff, ensure proper food preparation, monitor equipment quality, train new staff, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. The Head Chef also focuses on plate presentation, stock management, and collaborates with management to determine food and supplies requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all dishes are well cooked and presented appealingly.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure kitchen staff perform their duties.
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment when necessary.
- Assist in determining food and supplies ordering quantities.
- Train new kitchen staff.
- Set up the kitchen with utensils and equipment.
- Study each recipe and gather necessary ingredients.
- Cook food in a timely manner.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
- Inform wait staff about daily specials.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation.
- Supervise cooks and provide assistance as needed.
- Monitor food stock and place orders accordingly.
- Check freshness of food items and discard expired ones.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen area.

Salary: Php15,00.00 – Php23,00.00 per month
