Job Description
Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Compile safety programs.
- Practice safe working techniques.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Establish professional relationship with employees.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings for best practices.
- Standardize health and safety procedures.
- Identify hazardous waste and dispose of it correctly.
- Promote safety initiatives.
- Compile registers for compliance.
- Document staff information and meeting minutes.
- Regularly inspect equipment.
Safety Officer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid competency certificates.
- Health and Safety Officer registration.
- COSH Certificate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
