Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the management of security initiatives under senior security personnel.
- Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the team.
- Monitor security events, escalating and documenting incidents as necessary.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
- Aid in compliance efforts, assist in audits, and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Contribute to incident response activities, participate in investigations, and reporting.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
- Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in information security.
- Proficiencies in risk management, compliance, and security technologies.
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
