Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Project Specialist to join our team. As an Audit Project Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting audits of our company’s financial records, procedures, and systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing risk assessments and developing audit plans.
- Conducting thorough audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulations.
- Evaluating and improving existing controls and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identifying and communicating potential areas of risk or non-compliance.
- Preparing detailed audit reports for management, summarizing findings, and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CIA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on project management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
