Job Information

Job Description

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records to identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and process bank deposits and withdrawals.
• Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring they are properly classified and coded.
• Assist in preparing expense reports and processing expense reimbursements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for auditing purposes.
• Assist the accounting manager in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform general office duties related to accounting, such as data entry, photocopying, and filing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage but not always required.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
