Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Chop, slice, dice, and otherwise prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately for use in various dishes.
- Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the head chef to maintain consistency in flavor, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Support line cooks and chefs during busy periods by supplying them with prepared ingredients as needed.
- Adhere to proper food handling and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality, reporting any issues to the kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Note: will be assigned at The Commons – Matina Town Square
