Job Description
- Process the day-to-day requisition and receiving of warehouse activities and ensure an efficient and orderly workflow;
- Reads and analyzes bill of materials and determine stocks to issue or process request with the sourcing / procurement department
- Control over warehouse transactions (e.g. inbound, outbound, issuances, inventory control)
- Monitor inventory turnover and anticipate material request and procurement lead time
- Participate in quality control systems and remedy failure to meet quality standards.
- Sorting and Hauling of Board and Lumber for both incoming and outgoing from WH.
- Take necessary corrective actions to remedy deficiencies.
- Participate in the development of new warehouse processes and strategies for meeting production demands and reducing costs;
- Ensure set KPI’s are being attained (e.g., Service level, Inventory Accuracy, Lead Time, Cost Index, and 5S of Good Housekeeping)
- Perform other tasks assigned by the superior
