Job Description
Stockbridge American International School, a sister company of Sixeleven Global Services, is hiring an Academic Coordinator for Preschool to High School, also serving as the IB PYP Coordinator. The ideal candidate will excel in curriculum development, teacher mentorship, and coordination, with expertise in IB PYP framework.
Responsibilities:
- Develop academic programs from Preschool to High School.
- Ensure academic standards and student performance goals are met.
- Mentor and support teachers.
- Conduct professional development for teachers.
- Evaluate curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Foster an inquiry-based learning environment.
- Communicate with parents and the school community.
- Promote a reflective school culture.
IB PYP Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Guide through IB authorization process.
- Oversee PYP curriculum implementation.
- Integrate PYP framework effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in academic coordination.
- IB PYP teaching or coordinating experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
