Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant with experience working with Australian accounting practices. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
You will need a strong background in AU accounting practices, including knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and financial standards. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial data, including expenses, invoices, and receipts.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyze financial statements for discrepancies and accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with AU accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of AU tax laws, regulations, and financial standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
