SUMMARY

The Accountant II is responsible for delivering client financial reporting, enhancing internal operational effectiveness of accounting and internal controls functions to ensure positive customer experiences. This role involves generating innovative ideas to improve financial performance through creativity and effective measurements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide timely and accurate financial information and basic analysis to clients.
• Implement policies ensuring internal controls, safekeeping of assets, and compliance with GAAP rules.
• Assist in long-term growth strategies and resource maintenance.
• Recommend technology solutions for scalability.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with associates and support teams.
• Communicate recommendations for process improvements.
• Decrease turnaround times and work on special projects when required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 2-3 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Prior knowledge of property accounting and systems like MRI or RealPage is desirable.
• Strong communication, documentation, interpersonal, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products.

Education

Preferred: Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field
