Job Description
SCHEDULE: DAYSHIFT – AUS
WORK SET-UP: 3-4 DAYS PER WEEK
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- True end to end role that encompasses both transactional and reporting accounting work
- Processing and reconciling of accounts payable and credit cards and sub-contractors expense claims
- Assist monthly payroll for 10+ staff across WA, Singapore, Spain, and Greenland
- End of month reporting and support to Company Secretary when needed
- Assist with ongoing compliance matters ASX reporting, taxation, and payroll tax
- Filing and maintaining of books and records
- Accounting done through MYOB
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably experience with MYOB or if not the ability to re-skill quickly
- Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualifications desirable
- Ability to prepare accurate journals to keep accounts in order
- Has the right attitude/temperament to work in a small-team environment
- Ability to work autonomously and problem solve without supervision
- Great attention to detail
