Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Analyst II. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
As an Accounting Analyst II, you will work closely with the finance team to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Your main tasks will include analyzing financial transactions, reconciling balance sheets, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial transactions and ensure accuracy
- Reconcile balance sheets and investigate variances
- Prepare financial reports and assist in financial statement preparation
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
