Job Description

The Accounting Assistant will perform daily accounting tasks to support the Finance Team. Responsibilities include:

• Handling communications with clients and vendors.
• Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
• Monitoring collection on bank/check deposits and payments.
• Recording incoming payments upon issuance of OR.
• Regularly following up collections through email and phone calls.
• Updating recording of unidentified bank credits.
• Preparing Weekly Collection, Billing, and Forecast Reports.
• Preparing FS schedules.
• Preparing Tax recoverable status report schedule.
• Preparing output VAT schedule.
• Scheduling and coordinating with Admin for pick-up of checks.
• Assisting in BIR compliance.
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Organized and keen to details.
• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
• Exceptional time management and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, adjustments, billings, credits, and claims processing.
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Flexible and can work onsite.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php18,00.00 – Php22,00.00 per month
