Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent communication skills. This role will support the accounting department in various tasks including accounts payable/receivable, data entry, and financial report preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Process invoices and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting process
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
